NAU
The pop-up embodies all Nau stands for... -Por Homme
The “pop-up,” a type of temporary store that has become a sign of the times in cities that have experienced higher-than-usual retail vacancy rates is designed, built, used, disassembled, and discarded—with many of the materials ending up in landfills. Siteworks’ acclaimed pop-up in Manhattan for Portland-based clothing company, Nau, opted for an ecological approach in line with both Nau’s and Siteworks’ eco-conscious design ideals.
It was performance piece, or short film made up of social interaction, design process, activism, and the luck that comes with that brew.
